Dr. Maria-Christina Englmann is a Lawyer in the area of international dispute resolution based in our Munich office.
With over 10 year’s experience, she represents clients in national and international arbitration proceedings (both ad hoc and institutional, in particular pursuant to the ICC, DIS and LCIA rules) as well as in public courts in Germany. Dr. Maria-Christina specializes in conflict resolutions in cross-border commercial disputes in areas such as international trade, post M&A, infrastructure, and general contract and liability law. Her experience includes out-of-court dispute resolutions, arbitration procedures, and the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and judgments.
Before joining SUA, she worked in the litigation/arbitration practice groups of two leading commercial law firms in Frankfurt am Main and Munich. Previous to that, Dr. Maria-Christina seconded in top tier law firms in New York and Shanghai. She holds a Masters Decree in Law (LLM) in Comparative International Dispute Resolution of Queen Mary University of London.
Dr. Maria-Christina studied Law at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University in Munich and holds a Doctorate in Law.
